Most European stocks are shrugging off the news that U.S. initial claims have risen, as they anticipate the results of the European <a href="item/256806" target="_blank" title="European markets, spread bets, CFDs, spread betting, contracts for differences, FTSE 100, European stocks">bank stress tests</a>, and focus on good economic data in the euro zone. The FTSE 100 has been left out of the party, though. The British stock market is heading lower, even though the GDP news is better than expected.
