| July 27, 2010 | | Spread bets and CFDs on Asian stocks | Asian stocks ended mixed today, with markets looking for direction. Indeed, Hong Kong and Australia ended higher, along with India, while Shanghai, Japan and Taiwan ended lower.
Spread betting and contracts for differences on the Asian stock market should consider that investors are uncertain right now. There is interest in risk right now, which should be supporting global equities, but at the same time there are still concerns about the global economy -- especially the U.S. economic recovery.
It will be interesting to see how things go from here. Australia seems to be doing well enough, with its economy in large part helped by Asian trade, and that should help matters going forward.
