Spread bets and CFDs on European stocks should consider that investors are hoping that finance ministers will announce measures designed to help protect European markets and help euro zone member states.
Also encouraging some investors are the austerity measures being put in place by debt-ridden Southern European countries. Spain and Portugal have announced cuts in spending, as well as Greece. Efforts to shore up economies are providing some help to European stocks, but it remains to be seen how long this rally will actually last.
