| April 14, 2010 | | Spread betting and contracts for differences on world stock markets | Global equities are in the midst of a rally this morning. Spread bets and CFDs should consider that U.S. stock futures are pointing higher, indicating that they will join the rally upon the beginning of the U.S. session.
U.S. retail sales for March came in higher than expected, and that is giving bulls something to think about. The U.S. stock market is expected to follow other indices higher today.
In European, stock markets are higher. The FTSE 100 is gaining on improved British data. Asian stocks also saw gains across the board, with economic data indicating that Asia continues to lead global economic recovery.
