| March 23, 2010 | | Spread bets and CFDs on the U.S. stock market | Spread betting and contracts for differences on U.S. stocks are looking flat right now, after moving a bit higher earlier. Investors have been a bit optimistic with the passage of the health care reform bill, lead by the health sector.
Today, though, bulls are taking a bit of a breather and considering some of the economic data coming in. February existing home sales data is being scrutinized, and investors aren't so sure it is showing solid enough improvement.
In Europe, stock markets are higher in spite of the continued Greek drama, with the DAX, CAC40 and FTSE 100 all higher.
