U.S. Stock Futures Point to a Lower Open

Spread bets and CFDs on the U.S. stock market

Spread betting and contracts for differences on U.S. stocks should consider that futures are pointing to a lower open today. Global equities are struggling today, and it looks as though U.S. stocks are poised to follow suit.

Right now, gold prices and oil prices are heading lower, with a strong U.S. dollar providing pressure. Often equities move with commodities as investors move toward riskier investments. However, with risk aversion high today, it looks as though equities and commodities are going to remain lower.
