U.S. Stock Futures Inch Higher on Improved Jobs Data

Spread bets and CFDs on the U.S. stock market

Spread betting and contracts for differences on U.S. stocks should consider that futures are inching higher today. After experiencing a bit of uncertainty, U.S. stock futures are looking for some optimism, thanks to improved jobs data.

Initial unemployment claims fell by 29,000, adding encouragement that things might start improving again. However, it is important to note that yesterday's improved ADP data didn't do a whole lot in terms of spurring the U.S. stock market higher.

Bulls have a lot to overcome. But, with the initial claims data paired with the ADP data from yesterday, there are hopes that U.S. stock futures really can encourage the U.S. stock market into a higher open.
