U.S. Stocks Futures Rangebound

Spread betting and contracts for differences on U.S. stocks

Spread bets and CFDs on the U.S. stock market should consider that futures are mixed this morning. They are largely rangebound as investors mull over a few new developments.

The ADP jobs report shows that unemployment is slowing, with the smallest contraction in jobs in two years. The news is providing some hope that the employment situation in the U.S. may begin to improve. Additionally, Greece has announced deficit cutting measures.

However, investors aren't ready to be overly optimistic. Yesterday's initial rally pared most of its gains, with the U.S. stock market barely remaining in the black for the day. It will be interesting to see which way things swing when the U.S. stock market opens today.
