U.S. stocks got off to a volatile start. They opened higher, but soon moved lower as the consumer sentiment index showed a drop. However, now, thanks to profits, the U.S. stock market is heading higher.
Bulls are trying to recover from yesterday's drop. Economic jitters caused the stock market to end lower yesterday, and bulls are ready to remedy the situation. However, there are still some concerns -- especially if consumer confidence is falling again.
The rebound for U.S. stocks has had an effect in Europe as well, helping European stocks recover earlier losses and move higher.
