| November 06, 2009 | | Spread bets and CFDs on European stocks | Spread betting and contracts for differences on the European stock market should consider that things are rather flat today. Asia had a rather staid sort of day, with relatively small gains, and investors have been waiting to see what comes of U.S. employment reports.
Indeed, European markets have been flat, as has the FTSE 100, as they look for economic data out of the U.S. Stock futures in the U.S. are a little bit higher, but that could change if the employment picture continues to look grim. European markets have been in a holding pattern most of the day, and employment will provide direction as the session comes to a close.
