U.S. Stock Market Rallies Today

Spread betting and contracts for differences on the U.S. stock market should consider that a rally is underway right now. Good news has spurred investors to buy, thanks to some optimism that is starting to become a regular feature for U.S. stocks.

Today the U.S. stock market started out with a bang, thanks to unexpected news from Alcoa. Analysts had expected another quarterly loss, but the company came in with gains in earnings for Quarter 3. Also helping the cause today is the latest news on same store retail sales, which turned out better than expected.

On top of that, employment data is better than expected, and continues to show that the U.S. labour market is stabilising. This is providing some further good news for stocks, and another reason for bulls to be excited.
