Ford (F) and General Motors (GM) Gain on Auto Bailout

U.S. government bridge loans to U.S. auto industry help car stocks
Spread bets and CFDs on car stocks should consider that they are being helped by the latest auto industry bailout news. While Congress denied the $14 billion bailout loan package, the car companies are getting more help from TARP.

The U.S. auto industry is feeling confident that bridge loans are forthcoming, and this optimism is helping car makers, even though the rest of the stock market is a little iffy.

Chrysler is privately held, but both Ford (F) and General Motors (GM) are gaining on the stock market right now.
