| July 24, 2008 | | Placing spread bets on oil prices | Oil prices have been falling rather dramatically this past week, heading toward an almost two month low under $125 a barrel.
However, this drop has been seen as excessive, and today oil prices are making a bit of a comeback in commodities trading. Some analysts, however, believe that the comeback will be short-lived, and that oil prices could very well drop again in the near term.
Lower oil prices are having an effect on the US dollar, giving it a bit of a boost, as well as helping Asian stocks.
