The Banking Sector Drags the US Stock Market Lower

Spread bets and CFDs on the US stock market
Spread betting and contracts for differences on US stocks should consider that things are looking bleak again in the banking sector. Just as many were thinking that the worst of the news was over, Fifth Third and Morgan Stanley offered profit warnings.

These profit warnings come on the heels of Lehman Brothers trouble and issues at Goldman Sachs.

US stock futures fell sharply, pointing to a down opening today, and a very slow start for the US stock market indeed.
