| April 29, 2008 | | Spread bets and CFDs on the FTSE 100 | Spread betting on stock indices should consider that the FTSE 100 is moving higher today. Mostly, the British stock index is gaining thanks to energy stocks.
With increased price of oil, energy stocks, and especially oil stocks like BP, are moving quite a bit higher on the FTSE 100. Bloomberg reports on the gains for oil companies:
``Given the way the oil price has gone, I don't think you
will find too many investors complaining about these results,''
