Bank of England Many Trade Government Bonds for Mortage-Backed Securities

BOE plan may offer liquidity to markets
The Bank of England may allow banks and building societies to trade their mortgage-backed securities for government bonds in order to help the troubled markets. Rumours of the plan are helping the sterling in forex trading, as well as bolstering some general optimism.
