(YHOO) continues to defy Microsoft (MSFT), refusing to allow MSFT to buy YHOO for the proposed $31 a share. MarketWatch reports on Yahoo!'s response to Microsoft:
"We continue to believe that your proposal is not in the best interests
of Yahoo and our stockholders," Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang and Chairman Roy
Bostock said in a letter to Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
Both YHOO and MSFT are down at the open of the US stock markets, but MSFT gained yesterday.
