Commodities to Remain Strong in Australia

Commodities are expected to remain strong in Australia, reports news.au.com:

"Domestic demand remains strong (and) commodity prices will hold up and support our terms of trade,'' Mr Morriss said.

However, there are worries that a slowing global economy as 2008 moves forward will lead to a tapering off of demand. Futures trading should be wary of this, and commodities trading should watch for flagging prices in the latter part of 2008.
