| December 20, 2007 | | Copper futures gain | Copper futures are on the rise again as speculation over Chinese demand increases. Copper is gaining in commodities trading, as well as nickel, another industrial metal. Bloomberg reports on copper futures:
``Chinese demand is quite strong,'' said Eliane Tanner, an
analyst at Credit Suisse Group in Zurich. ``We have seen
inventories decline in China and at some point they will buy
