| December 13, 2007 | | Cocoa futures up on warehouse strike | Warehouse workers in Ivory Coast are striking again today, and this is pushing the cost of cocoa up in commodities trading. Cocoa futures are on the rise, as supply is being constricted by the strike. Bloomberg reports on cocoa in commodities trading:
``We've had fund buying on the opening,'' said Jonathan
Bristow, head of the coffee and cocoa desk at Bache Financial
Ltd. in London. Prices may drop when ``the strike is over.'' | | |
