The DAX Index rose 53.14, or 0.7 percent, to 8,039.71 at
12:13 p.m. in Frankfurt. DAX futures expiring in December added
55.50, or 0.7 percent, to 8,102.50. The HDAX Index of the
country's 110 biggest companies also increased 28.75, or 0.7
