Fundamental analysis relies more on underlying factors than on formulas and chart movements. When using fundamental analysis to help with placing spread bets, you look at economic data and factors such as politics, news events and company management (for spread bets on stocks).
These factors give you an overall picture of the general health of a financial instrument, helping you determine whether to favour or short.
