Stock Market Indices Gain Around the World

European, Japanese and U.S. stocks gain
Thanks to the speeches expected today from U.S. Fed Chair Ben Bernanke and U.S. President George W. Bush, stock market indices around the world on moving up. Relief is expected for the credit market, and this is providing investors with some confidence in the stock market. European, Japanese and U.S. stocks are on the ries, Reuters reports:

Tokyo's Nikkei share average climbed more than 2 percent, European bourses gained and U.S. stock index futures were pointing to a stronger open on Wall Street after a senior administration official told Reuters President Bush will outline reforms intended to help homeowners with subprime mortgages avoid default.
