| August 14, 2007 | | Spread bets and CFDs on the European stock market | European stocks are gaining again on the stock market as economic information indicates that the economy is not so bad, in Europe as well as in the U.S. Spread betting and contracts for differences on European stocks should consider, however, that the stock market has been rather volatile, and this could change at any time. For now, Bloomberg reports the latest on the European stock market:
The Dow Jones Stoxx 600 Index rose less than 0.1 percent to
371.13 at 1:55 p.m. in London after falling as much as 1 percent
earlier. The Stoxx 50 was little changed, and the Euro Stoxx 50,
a measure for the euro region, retreated 0.1 percent. | | |
