| June 26, 2007 | | Dow Jones Stoxx 600 losing gains | The Dow Jones Stoxx 600 is losing the gains it posted this quarter as European stocks decline. Spread bets and CFDs on the stock market should consider that there is concern over where interest rates will peak (they keep going up), and a certain level of risk aversion. Bloomberg reports information that could be helpful when spread betting on European stocks:
``We will continue to see some downside pressure on equities
until the market comes to a conclusion on where interest rates
will peak,'' said Mike Lenhoff, who helps oversee about $36
billion as chief strategist at Brewin Dolphin Securities Ltd. in
London. ``Until then we will see volatility and sell-offs.''
