However, it is important to note that the changes are very small, and the slight slip in European stocks is likely to be little more than a slight correction before the European stock market starts climbing again. Bloomberg reports on European stocks:
``There is a lot of merger-and-acquisition activity around
and enough liquidity to push equities higher,'' said Andy Lynch,
who helps manage about $11 billion at Schroder Investment
Management in London. Still, ``equities may be looking a little
overstretched. We may have to first take a bit of pain before we
