| April 25, 2007 | | Footsie up on stock market | Spread bets and CFDs on the FTSE indices could prove profitable as the Footsie rallies on the stock market. The FTSE 100 is climbing, as is the FTSE All-Share Index. Spread betting and contracts for differences should consider this from Bloomberg:
The benchmark FTSE 100 climbed 39.60, or 0.6 percent, to
6469.10 at 1:37 p.m. in London. The FTSE All-Share Index added
0.6 percent to 3362.41. Ireland's ISEQ Index retreated 0.4
percent to 9531.82.
U.K. indexes extended gains after a government report
showed orders for U.S. durable goods rose more than forecast in
March, signaling business spending started to recover in the
