| April 11, 2007 | | British, Irish stocks rise | British stocks are on the rise, and the FTSE 100 is gaining on the stock market. Spread bets and CFDs on Irish stocks, which are rising on the stock market as well, could also prove profitable. Bloomberg reports on the gains made by the FTSE stock index:
The benchmark FTSE 100 Index climbed 19.4, or 0.3 percent,
to 6437 at 11:50 a.m. The FTSE All-Share index increased 0.2
percent to 3351.56. Ireland's ISEQ Index advanced 0.6 percent
