Japanese Stocks Down

Consumer confidence causes stock index to tumble
The Nikkei stock index in Japan is down on August's consumer confidence report. Japanese stocks are taking a hit as a result of pessism over Japan's economy. Spread bets should short the Nikkei for now, and await further economic indicators after this Saturday's G7 meeting in Singapore.
