Should BoE Raise Interest Rates Now?

Some analysts think U.K. inflation warrants it
Even though the Bank of England is likely to raise interst rats by the end of the year, and possibly raise them further by the end of 2007, the National Institute for Economic and Social Research is not satisfied. It insists that to curb U.K. inflation BoE should raise interest rates now.

However, most analysts expect the Bank of England to hold interest rates steady at next week's rate-setting meeting.
